Our mission and vision

Founded in 1980, ATQ supports, accompanies, and empowers trans, non-binary, and questioning individuals throughout their journey, while promoting gender diversity across Quebec.

Rooted in a “by and for” approach, we offer personalized support on personal, professional, and psychological levels—before, during, and after a transition process.

We aspire to be the leading reference in Quebec for support, well-being, recognition, and acceptance of gender-diverse individuals.

Our board of directors is composed of volunteers elected by all organization members.

Their mandate is to ensure ATQ’s management in an ethical, efficient, and transparent manner, while ensuring that the organization carries out its mission of helping and defending the rights of gender-diverse individuals.
