Trans Pride Festival

Our story

Created in 2004 and hosted by ATQ since 2005, this festival has evolved over the years: initially focused on conferences and workshops, it has transformed into a multidisciplinary event featuring panel discussions, artistic performances, and community celebrations.

The Trans Pride Festival celebrates its 20th edition in Montreal on May 2 and 3

“In a social and political context that is challenging for trans and non-binary people, it is essential to foster connection and break isolation. We are deeply pleased to see this edition of the Trans Pride Festival take place at the MEM, a space rooted in Montreal’s history. This choice also highlights the importance of recognizing the place of trans communities, who have been actively contributing to the city’s social and cultural richness for decades,” said Victoria F. Legault, Executive Director of Aide aux Trans du Québec.
