Throughout the 1990s, ATQ maintains the directions and services established in its early years.

The organization produces its first brochures to promote its mission and services to the public. In this spirit, ATQ encourages its members to share their testimonies, take part in awareness-raising efforts, and contribute to a better understanding of trans realities.

This increased visibility is reflected in a significant number of media articles featuring individuals connected to the organization, which frequently cite ATQ as a reference.

In 1997, the Gala Fierté Trans is held at Café Cléopâtre, bringing together notable figures such as Guilda and Brigitte Martel.

This event stands as a key moment of visibility, helping to firmly anchor the presence of trans communities within Montreal’s cultural life. It reflects a strong commitment to celebrating trans pride and creating essential spaces for community gathering.
